Are Dogs Allowed At Tombstone
Of course! Dogs are allowed along the touristy downtown area along East Allen Street as long as they are leashed and controlled.
Most shops will ask you to leave your pooch outside because spaces are small and compact. But this will be something you will have to ask each shop individually during your visit if you want to step inside with your animal.
In terms of the attractions, it is going to be a mixed bag.
We heard you can bring your dog to the OK Corral & Gunfight Show, though we didn’t bring ours, so we don’t have first-hand experience. During the re-enactment show, you will be sitting on bleachers, so make sure that is something your doggo can do (and that they won’t mind all the gunfire).
We also believe you can take your furry friend on the trolley tour with you as you view the sites around town and learn about Tombstone’s history.
Wandering East Allen St is half the fun when you visit Tombstone; Spot can certainly do that with you. We have often seen dogs walking the boardwalks with their owners. And you will see our Aramis below when we had here with us on the boardwalk.
Something to keep in mind though. Downtown Tombstone is compacted into a couple of blocks of shops and attractions. It can be quite crowded, especially during an event weekend. There will also be horse-drawn carriages, loud kids, and likely other dogs.
If your furry family member is skittish with crowds or loud noise, think twice before bringing them with you.
